Sticking to My Workouts

I made a New Year’s resolution that I would work out at least 3 times per week. So far I’ve actually kept the resolution! I’d like to bump it up to 4-5 days per week eventually. I’m finding that working out in the mornings seems to really help me keep the resolution. I work out for at least 20 minutes, and then even if I don’t get a walk or jog in at lunch or do my pullups on our bars in the home gym, I don’t feel guilty because I got at least a small workout in.
I’ve also started putting the exercise mat down in our home office. Then when I get bored I do jumping jacks, situps or pushups. I figure every little bit helps right? My goal is to get in top shape by April 1st, for my husband’s academy graduation. I think I can do it. I want to lose at least 5 pounds, which doesn’t seem like it should be too difficult. I’ve stopped drinking wine during the week and I’ve cut back on my calories. Now if I can just kick this sweet tooth…
