Like New Vanities

I am not a big fan of honey colored wood. I’m sure it has its place in some homes, but to me it just screams 1980s. I really wanted to replace the vanities in our bathrooms, but that would have cost us a pretty penny.

So I opted for a $30 bucket of espresso paint, some sandpaper and elbow grease, and voila, like new vanities! Also, in the master bathroom I spray painted the towel racks and faucets with oil rubbed bronze paint.

With just $30 of paint, and another $5 for the spray paint, I was able to get like new bathrooms. Here’s the downstairs bathroom. I had to tear down that fake stainless glass window covering.

It’s amazing what paint and determination can accomplish!
