With my family in Oregon, and us not visiting them this year, I’m having a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit. We were also pinching pennies since we just bought a home. I wish I had known about sending cake pops online with ProFlowers because I think that would be a very fun gift for my parents. Maybe I’ll have to do that for my mom’s birthday next month.

Ever since we got satellite TV from DirectStarTV.com, my husband cannot stop watching movies. I am glad we are no longer paying rental fees because my husband used to rent movies and keep them forever before taking them back. I love to watch movies, but lately I just have not had any time to watch them. My husband watches a movie almost every night before he goes to bed. He sometimes falls asleep watching movies and comes to bed several hours after I have gone to sleep. I would not mind this, but our daughter is two months old and sleeps in a bassinet in our room, so whenever he comes to bed late he wakes her up. Then I am the one who gets up with her and has to get her back to sleep. My husband says he tries to be as quiet as he can when coming to bed, but I told him he needs to start watching his movies earlier. At least we have DVR so we he has the option of watching the movies whenever he wants to.
I haven’t mentioned it before on the blog, but I make a little income off the internet. I use a combination of search engine optimization, survey taking, swagbucks, and link words within my blog posts. It’s so nice to be able to contribute to our household spending fund, even though I don’t have a regular “job”.
I also do a lot with Social Media. I recently discovered that in addition to being fun, social media also helps out those in need. Check it out!

I’m very new to the world of online gambling, but I definitely think it might be something fun to do. If I was going to play, I’d want to check into free bingo no deposit that I’ve hard about. free no deposit bingo is just like what it sounds like-no deposit bingo . It’s where you play bingo without making a deposit. It’s a great idea for a newbie like me who isn’t quite ready to risk real money. What’s also great about bingo no deposit is that you can still win, even if you don’t pay a deposit! Now that would be pretty cool.
You definitely have to do your research and find the legitimate sites that don’t make you put a credit card in when you register, but they are out there. It’s worth taking the time and researching it to make sure you find the legitimate free bingo sites. Some websites offer no deposit bingo on a trial run basis while others allow it forever. You just have to make sure you read the fine print. Some sites offer bonus points for signing up. This isn’t real money but it will allow you to play where you can possibly win the big cash prizes. Good luck out there and happy bingo-ing!
Recently I downgraded our internet speed in an attempt to save us some extra cash. But when the slow internet kicked in it was absolute torture. We don’t have gaming computers but we do a lot of online gaming with our PS3 and it was constantly crashing. So frustrating! Plus if I uploaded a picture to facebook it seemed to take forever. I am definitely excited that we decided to upgrade.
One thing I love about working from home, besides wearing PJs all day is getting errands done around the house. I am off to replace my distributor water filter and pick up a few Christmas lights and groceries for the house. I have also finished the laundry, even the dreaded folding, and the dishes. I’ll start dinner this afternoon and I should be able to get a workout in! Working from home RULES!
I’m so sad the weekend has come to an end. It was so incredible having a four day weekend. I’m so happy my husband was able to join me too! There is no better natural migraine relief than some good old fashioned R&R. I’m also happy to report I didn’t eat myself stupid. I managed to balance the nibbling with some exercise and I didn’t gain any weight. I didn’t lose any either, but that’s what New Year’s Resolutions are for right?
I’m dreading going back to work tomorrow, but I’m so glad I was able to get that time with my loved ones.
Managing finances is tough for just one person. When it’s two, it’s twice as hard. My husband gets paid just once a month so budgeting is even more necessary. We thought about doing payday advances where he gets a third of his paycheck at the end of the month, and the other portion in the first few weeks. Here’s hoping we can stick to our budget especially with the holidays coming up!
I’ve been driving a LOT lately. I was on the road for three hours yesterday. It got me really thinking about a newer car. I’d love to own a Subaru Forester with a yakima rack so we could go snowboarding or biking. I have to be practical for now and basically run my car into the ground because I can’t afford a car payment. It sure would be nice to have a car that is at least an automatic though. This shifting all the time is getting old!
It’s that time of year again. Christmas is right around the corner and it’s time to get creative for gift ideas. I wish I was good at making my own jewelery and had my own set of beading supplies. I’m really into taking pictures and making scrapbooks so I think that may be my new thing. I’ve already made two photo books and I’m planning on making a video slideshow for my friends. Hopefully they will enjoy the homemade gifties!
