Preggo Couch Potato

I’ve been spending a lot of time with my booty parked on the couch. I know that’s just going to increase the further along I get. I’m hoping to stock up on some of my favorite discount dvds and enjoy some quality tube time. Now if only I could figure out a way to sit comfortable without my back hurting. This baby is already a pain in my back. :-)

The Broath-Coming up on How I Met Your Mother

It looks like the gang is going to try meddle in Barney and Quinn’s relationship on this Monday’s episode of HIMYM. I think if I was a member of the gang (which would be totally awesome) I would be right there with them. These two just don’t have any chemistry. If this is in fact who Barney ends up marrying (and I think if he intends to, it’ll be a last minute switch with Robin, but that’s another topic) then they’d better kick up the heat a notch. She just seems awkward to me. Also, I don’t buy her as a stripper at all! I don’t know what it is, but she just doesn’t have that stripper type quality.

I can’t wait to see how the gang handles Quinney in this week’s episode.

Finance Research

Lately I’ve been trying to do more financial research. I’ve found some information about annuities online as well as stocks and bonds. I think it’s so important to be educated about the financial options out there. There’s also the standby of just not overspending per month. So many people would benefit from doing this simple step. Just don’t spend more than you make, and you will be amazed at how much money you have left at the end of the month.

Side Effects of Diet Pills

It’s crazy what some women (and men too let’s not be bias) will do to be thin. They take diet pills, which can have some very scary side effects. If you know someone who has taken diet pills, you should find out more about oxyelite pro and the rest. Knowledge is power and the more you know can really help. Some diet pills are safer than others so just do your research before taking them.

Our Trip is Booked!

Our trip is booked to Oregon! I’m so excited. I hope the weather isn’t too cold. The weather has been fluctuating so much lately up there. One week sunshine, the next week snow. I can only hope our hotel has heated mattress pads if it’s really chilly out. I don’t care what the weather, I’m just so excited to get away for a few days with my hubby, and to see my family! It’s been far too long.

Identity Theft

It seems like nowadays there are so many ways for people to steal your identity. Almost everything is online, from our banking, to our credit history, you name it. Now it looks like there is something called rfid that allows vendors to scan credit cards from a distance. Can you imagine having your credit card scanned without even taking it out of your wallet? It’s crazy to think about. I guess it’s just important to always know where your money is and try to be as secure as possible.

Been Nice

Guest post by Gerard Mcdaniel

It’s nice having so many http://www.direc4u.com/ channels because kids were always fighting about what to watch. Now we’ve got some stuff that’s sort of in the middle and they both really love animal shows so they usually settle on that. I don’t know when kids started watching as much TV as they do but you know, I guess it’s not the worst thing in the world for them to learn about animals while they’re resting and allowing me to get laundry done and whatnot. I can’t believe when I was a kid my mom would just let me outside in the neighborhood for hours at a time not knowing where I was but you know, times were different back then and I feel like you could trust your kids more. Anyway, I love my kids but they need to learn to agree on something other than animal shows. If they don’t I’m going to strangle both of them before they’re old enough to go off to college, mark my words on it!

How I Met Your Mother-Drunk Train

Wow, talk about taking us for some twists and turns in this episode. First the Kevin proposal. I did not see that coming. I thought he was going to ask her to move in with him. Then when she said yes, I was floored. Ultimately I think their break up was for the best. But that moment when Ted tells her he loves her? No no no. I know at some point they had to talk about their relationship, and how it was standing in the way of Ted’s meeting “The One”. But they can’t go back down that road again. They just don’t work as a couple.

As for Barney and Quinn putting him in his place? I liked it. I am ready to see Barney’s story develop. We know he’s going to end up at the altar, and the writers need to show him getting there. I am still convinced Robin is going to be the one for him. Maybe he wasn’t going to head to Quinn’s after all. Maybe deep down he knows that Robin is the one for him. They’be been dancing around each other for a long time now, and it’s about time they get back together. I just hope we don’t have to wait too long to see it.

I liked Marshall and Lily’s score storyline and the laughs it brought to lighten the mood. My hubs actually wants a scoreboard above our bed now, ha! I can’t wait for the next episode!

Wish List-The Cradle List

I’ve got a pretty big wish list of items we’d like to get for our house before our little one gets here. I think a big priority for me is getting a garmin zumo gps. I’m always getting lost and it’d be nice to always know where I’m going. They’re also so handy on trips when I need to find a gas station or a restaurant nearby. Hopefully we can get one in the next few months.

How to Train Your Dragon-DVD Review

I absolutely LOVED this movie. It was so adorable. Hiccup and his dragon buddy Toothless. We took a break from me perusing thousands of online websites, looking for discount furniture stores in los angeles that might have a cute baby crib for our little one, when the Hubs suggested we watch the movie. It’s definitely in my top ten favorite animated movies. Dreamworks never disappoints. Great animation, sweet storyline, and just plain funny. I love how the dragon had the same mannerisms of a kitty. We laughed, we awed, and yes, I even shed a tear. If you haven’t watched it, I suggest you rent it!
