The first thing that attracted me to you was your smile. When I saw your picture, I thought you had the nicest smile, and you looked like you had a great sense of humor.
Turns out I was right, you have the same goofy sense of humor as me, which brings me to the second that
that attracted me to you: your ability to make the most convincing monkey face.
Now that we’re together, I’m more attracted to you every day. I love that we can be goofy together, and you make me smile every day.
Following the theme of romance for this month’s SPTs, this week is I think it would be romantic to…
I’ve always thought it would be romantic to go on a trip together. This past week was our first trip away where it was just us, no family, no holiday, no occasion, just us going on a trip together.
Like I blogged before, we went to Seattle, and we did have a lot of fun. We were too efficient, and got to the airport really early, and then our flight was delayed, so we had fun killing time taking pictures and playing with the filters on my camera.
We had a great time finding new places to eat and drink, and just people watch.
Then when D got sick, we snuggled together and spent the day in the hotel. Even though he was sick, it was romantic spending that time just us, no schedules, no agendas, just us being lazy.
This week’s SPT is a challenge-I resolve to take more self portraits while trying new things. Well, I guessÂ
trying new things goes along with our past weekend. We were so productive, and we got lots of work and moving things done. After that though, we were at a loss for what to do. We just kept looking at each other and saying, “What do you wanna do? I dunno, what do you want to do?” Very reminiscent of the vultures in The Jungle Book. We finally decided that we needed to get out of the house and take a break from all the packing we’d been doing. We drove out to the coast so we could go star gazing, something we’ve never done together.
This is a picture of us standing on a pitch black cliff looking at the stars. You can’t tell, but the sky was full of stars, it was beautiful. There was this really eerie warm wind, and as you can tell it did a good job of ruining this picture. We ran back to the car right after this because the pitch black and no moonlight was pretty spooky!
Peace is being with my boyfriend. Before him, my life was chaotic, I was sick a lot, and often stressed out. With the boy, I can relax and play a game of gin rummy to pass the time. Before I met him, I could barely sit still for more than 5 minutes. OK, I still have trouble sitting still, but he helps!
Peace is the ocean, especially at home in Oregon. I miss home a lot, and being able to just drive five minutes to the beach. I loved to sit in my car and watch the waves on a stormy day, or walk on along the water and feel the sand between my toes.
